A lovely little Rock Rose from the Mediterranean regions.
Pure white blooms with soft yellow centres, which hold the pollen for the bees, and the stamens, all through spring and summer. It has a softly spreading growth habit, growing to about 1m tall and wide eventually. It loves a free draining soil; stony ground is no problem as its names states :) Also perfect for the beach as it tolerates wind and dry conditions.
Half hardy, it can cope with light frosts.
Full sun is the best position for the most blooms.
They look fabulous either as a single plant or mass planting in the garden, on dry banks, coastal, or rockery gardens.
Easily cut back lightly after first flush in spring or trim back harder in late summer.
