Margaret Tarrant is the artist of these beautiful Flower Fairy Cards.  Margaret Tarrant was an English illustrator born in 1888. She originally trained as an art teacher but then gave that up to become a full time book illustrator and water colour painter.  Her illustrations were very popular and she was in great demand for illustrating and her beautiful work can be seen in many children's books including those of Lewis Carroll and Hans Christian Anderson.  Her illustrations at only twenty years of age for the Water Babies book started her famed illustrating career.

Printed using vegetable-based inks and printed on high quality (FSC) certified board, which denotes that is approved by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)  which is an international non-profit, multi-stakeholder organization which promotes responsible management of the world's forests. The FSC sets standards on forest products, along with certifying and labelling them as eco-friendly.
