Helleborus x hybridus | Anemone Centered | Spotted Yellow
These Hellebores are hybrids that have really good clear colours on strong stems and which are more upright facing. So many of the early hybrids were real nodders, or as we like to say, just shy. So, they always had to have the flowers turned up to see what was in them. One reason the plants nod is to protect them from the winter elements. And so, it is nice to be able to see what is hiding under the petals now as these have been bred to have their little heads turned more upright. Gorgeous colours and quality plants.
This divine yellow with burgundy spots on its outer petals, with it's lovely anemone like centre is no exception. It needs extra light to bring out its best colour which is more primrose than true yellow.
In bud and flower.
Pot size: 2.5 litre
