Renowned for producing flowers pretty much every month of the year, with the strongest flushes in spring and summer, this gorgeous, striking compact shrub with bright magenta-pink pea-shaped flowers are so easy to grow. Attractive to bees, birds and butterflies, as well as all the other pollinators, and well suited to growing in pots and containers. ‘Petite Butterfly’ is a smaller and more compact variety which grows to only about 80cm tall and wide.

They are a tough, frost, wind hardy and drought tolerant plant that even thrives in coastal situations. Grow in full sun or part shade. Suitable in many garden spots with good drainage, performing especially well in lighter soils. Really easy care with a trim and a feed of slow-release fertilizer after a main flush of flowering.
