A beautiful vigorous climber with pale green foliage that starts off bronze-green when young and becoming yellow in Autumn.

Before the flowers appear, it produces long, pendulous racemes of fragrant, pale violet flowers from mid to late Spring for about 6 weeks or so.

Hardy, deciduous and best grown in a sunny position for better flowering.

Soils need to be reasonably moist and free-draining and provide support for plant to grow over. Prune back to the 5th bud from the main stem for shape in summer once flowering has finished.
