Also known as Lady's Mantle, Alchemilla mollis is a popular perennial with its beautiful fan-shaped foliage that holds the water droplets which sparkle in the light like little jewels.

Sprays of dainty chartreuse coloured flowers that also cut well and can also be dried making this an excellent addition to the garden. Looks wonderful planted in big drifts or also makes a very handsome edging plant. Grows well in sun or shade and can tolerate poor soils but does like moisture so mulching helps.

Thriller blooms more prolifically and has larger leaves and is slightly more upright in its growth habit.   The foliage and flowers are excellent for cutting and the leaves are highly sought after for use in posies.

Can be divided in spring or early autumn and will often self-sow.
