Camellias are often favoured as easy to grow, hardy evergreen garden shrubs, popular for their glossy green foliage, a robust disposition and autumn/ winter flowering.

Early Pearly is a lovely variety that produces small, semi double, crisp white blooms edged with soft pink. With tall, slender growth, this variety does also have a mild fragrance. Can be grown as a hedge, espalier or incorporated into garden plantings as a standalone specimen. Could also be grown in a pot.

Prefers full sun/ partial shade in well drained soil.

Height is to about 2m, and around 1.5m wide.
