Camellias are often favoured as easy to grow, hardy evergreen garden shrubs, popular for their glossy green foliage, a robust disposition and autumn/ winter flowering. They bring colour and interest to the garden at a time when many other plants may be dormant.

Camellia transnokoensis has dainty leaves and small pink flower buds. The buds open to cover the shrub in small, single white flowers with a delicate scent. 

Ideal for screening as a hedge, espalier or incorporated into garden plantings as a standalone specimen. 

Prefers full sun/ partial shade in well drained soil

Height is to about 4m, and around 1.5m wide.
