Previously known as Schizostylis coccinea this very pretty late flowering clumping perennial with sword-shaped green leaves has beautiful crisp white star-shaped flowers, and is very pretty as well as not being seen very often and we do not have a lot of them

Our plants flower from early Autumn into sometimes late Winter meaning you can still have a lovely bunch of pretty cut flowers for the table at a time when so few things are flowering.  Plant in full sun and keep watered during drier periods.  Easily split to give you more plants and reasonably quick to multiply. Can be deciduous or semi-deciduous depending on your winter but will re-emerge in spring.  Frost hardy.
