Kniphofia uvaria | Green/Lemon
Kniphofia Green/ Lemon is a winter dormant perennial that has slender spikes of lemon coloured flowers that fade through to soft green tones that ascends from above the green grass-like foliage. These impressive little plants also make a great cut flower. Once established Kniphofias are particularly drought tolerant but do like good drainage, so sandy soils are also fine. Happy growing in either full sun or partial shade.
They are particularly hardy and don't mind frost or wind. Not only do they look great in the garden but perfect for a pot as well. Happy to be divided and we use the rule of thumb that you can divide once the plant has finished flowering so in this case late summer to early autumn would be fine. Bees and butterflies love this plant.
Perennial | Hardy down to minus 15 degrees not that we get that cold here!
Winter dormant
Grows to 120cm with flower stems and 60cm wide
Pot Size: 1 litre & 2.5 litre
