Fabulously fragrant, Lonicera x heckrotti Goldflame  (also known as American Beauty) is a winner of the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society Garden of Merit. Goldflame has striking flowers that are flushed with deep pink on the outside and upon opening they reveal an orange-yellow throat.  Flowers are produced profusely from summer and right into autumn and can even occasionally flower into early winter in areas with milder climates.  The foliage is blue green and oval with contrasting reddish coloured stems. 

A wonderful addition to bouquets and lasts well in a vase.

A full sun to part shade lover, Goldflame is best grown in fertile medium moisture but well drained soil.  This hybrid is considered to be one of the finest selections.

The perfect choice for covering walls, fences, trellises, sheds and pergolas!  Prune the plant as needed to keep it tidy and confined within its allocated area.
