Also known as Morning Iris, Orthrosanthos multiflorous is a clumping plant that is very easy care that will also add a striking true-blue flower into your gardens colour scheme. 

A member of the Iris family, the pretty starry blue flowers only last a day each but are produced in profusion from spring into early summer and over the flowering period, this plant is rarely out of flower.  An evergreen perennial with bright green narrow sword-like foliage. Protect from heavy frost. A great choice for a dry site.

Orthrosanthos prefers a semi-shaded position but in cooler areas, it will tolerate full sun.
