Also, known as Jerusalem Sage or Turkish Sage, this stately evergreen perennial bears 1 metre stems with whorls of pale hooded yellow that can flower from late spring right through until early autumn. Phlomis is a long flowering plant that likes a well-drained position in a sunny spot and is quite drought tolerant once established.

Easily divided to provide you with new plants.  The stems also look attractive during the winter months - see our photo below.  Looks stunning with blue coloured plants as seen here in our garden picture with blue Cranesbill Geranium Rozanne. An excellent cut flower that can last up to two weeks in a vase.  The Winter flower stems are also attractive in floral work.
