Also known as Variegated Solomons Seal, this elegant rhizomatous perennial is known for its beautiful, graceful arching stems of pendulant white tubular flowers that are tipped green at the base and hang from the undersides of the stem, usually in pairs. The leaves have wonderful lighter coloured margins which makes them very popular with florists as a cut flower and foliage.

Solomons Seal is a popular choice for colonizing dry, partial or fully shaded areas and looks particularly at home in a woodland style planting.  This plant has created a lot of demand as a cut flower with florists and looks best with the leaves removed as it creates a very graceful line to an arrangement.  Condition the stems overnight by standing in tepid water - the flowers have approximately 10 days plus in a vase.
