Deutzias are actually a member of the hydrangea family although, their flowers do look very different these beautiful double flowers are pure white, fragrant and they flower along the branches.  Deutzia flowers are beautiful for cutting.

Flowering occurs from early spring into mid summer.  Plants are happy in both full sun and partial shade and are vigorous plants that have an attractive exfoliating bark. Happy in a well drained position. Deutzia is a deciduous shrub so it loses its leaves in winter.
