A lovely, and under-rated evergreen perennial for shady spots in the garden. Beautiful heart shaped foliage which turns autumnal as the summer ends, with unusual shaped clouds of blooms that appear to be in flight held above the leaves on wiry stems and move easily in a breeze in Spring.

It is slow growing to 30cm tall and 40cm wide.

A wonderful groundcover for under evergreen and deciduous trees alike, they do well in dry to medium moisture. Drought tolerant once established after a few months.

Protect from winds.

Pest and disease free, rabbit proof.

Cut back old foliage in late winter or early spring for the best display of blooms, as you would with Hellebores too.
