Hydrangea seemanii
Hydrangea seemanii is really quite a rare find in NZ. Here at Puriri Lane @Addenbrooke we are pleased to offer these for sale at last! There are very limited numbers of them for now. This beautiful evergreen climber prefers to be grown in moist soil in a sunny or partly shaded spot with some support that it can cling too. Up a shed or garage wall on the shady side is actually perfect! Reaching a height of 10-12m, and spreading to 3m, it is a fully hardy perennial and not at all invasive, just giving great all year interest in the garden. The fragrant white lacecap blooms last for weeks through late spring and summer.
