This beautiful lupin presents its enchanting white flowers that blend in perfectly whether in a white garden or in a colourful perennial bed. The stately white upright panicles will go anywhere!
When planting, make sure the plant is in a sunny location with deep, lime-free, fresh soil.
The flowers will grow to about 80 cm tall and the plant will spread to 50 cm wide.
They'll bloom from early to late summer.
The leaves are also distinctly beautiful, palm shaped leaves that hold raindrops after a shower like Alchemilla mollis does..so pretty.
After flowering, cut the plant back to about 10 to 15 cm. It will then sprout again and will delight you with a second flowering.
Lupins are good cut flowers. Leave some flowers in the garden too, so that bees and other insects can enjoy the nectar rich pea like blooms.
