Lupinus 'The Governor' is a lupine variety that is part of the Russell hybrids from England. It is a stunning perennial plant that blooms in the spring and summer in full sun with striking tall, densely packed and sweetly scented blue and white flowers. It is a great choice for pollinator gardens and is resistant to deer and rabbits... we have rabbits here at Puriri Lane @Addenbrooke and they never bother these guys! In hot summer areas, its best to grow them as annuals, and they perform wonderfully. Grows to about 75cm tall and 60cm wide, they attract all the pollinators too!
