This old-fashioned plant that used to be called Persicaria, and is sometimes called the Princess Feather, has long stems of cascading clusters of small rose-pink flowers, they bloom from late summer into autumn, and add movement and a romantic charm to garden borders.

Also lovely added to posies and bouquets as it's a great cut flower. 

Loved by bees and other pollinators too.

It is quite sensitive to low temperatures, so it is not fully frost hardy, and prefers a sunny spot or an area where sun is reached at least 6 hours a day.

Grows to 1.5 metres tall and wide. 

Half-hardy annual.
