Veronica longifolia, ‘Pink Shades’ is an attractive upright plant with shiny green leaves and elegant tall pink spires that open from tightly packed pink buds.

Veronica longifolia enjoys a sunny or partially shaded position although we find that mulching will help to retain moisture when it is positioned in drier situations. Flowering from mid-summer for many months right through autumn this lovely plant adds a gentle columnar, architectural height to the border providing an effective contrast to more traditional flower shapes when grown at the front of the border. Planted in drifts it looks particularly spectacular.  An excellent long-lasting cut flower whilst also being attractive to both bees and butterflies.
