This little hard to find beauty is a superb form of a European native wood anemone with very large soft, pale lavender blue flowers on slender stems and very pretty divided leaves. So beautiful and excellent for planting under trees and shrubs to naturalise. Plant the rhizomes (chubby roots) in autumn but do not allow them to dry out first or they will die! Moist soils are the key for these lovelies.

They grow to 15 cm tall and naturalise over time. Prefer a shady spot and will bloom over several weeks in early spring. Gorgeous! Winter dormant.
