Astilbe arendsii 'Bridal Veil' is a beautiful, free flowering astilbe, wonderful in shady borders, growing to 70 cm tall with their densely packed tiny flowers on tall strong and study spikes in mid-summer. Great for picking, and just lovely in bouquets, brides and florists alike love this variety as it's so easy to work with. The blooms are long lasting, and grow above deep green, ferny glossy foliage, which dies back in winter as it goes dormant. They also brighten up the night garden and look amazing under trees. Such a garden treasure! Plant in full to part shade, with plenty of compost, although in cooler summers they can tolerate some sun.

Grows 70 cm tall and 50 cm wide, and pollinators love them. We do too!
