Freesia Double | Vienna
Freesia Double Vienna is a beautiful giant flowering freesia with white flowers and a light cream center.
The blooms are incredibly sweet-smelling and are wonderful as cut flowers in bouquets. Grows up to 50 cm high, and spreads by multiplying its little bulblets over time. Grow in full sun, with soil that is not too wet. The bulbs should be planted in well-drained soil, 5 cm deep, and 5–8 cm apart. In containers, the soil should be kept moist, but the pot should not sit in water, as this can cause the bulbs to rot. In the garden, watering once a week is usually enough.
Usually blooms in spring, these will probably bloom earlier as they've been potted up in Autumn. Gorgeous!
3 bulbs per pot, 1 litre pot.
