The Ixia Giant Yellow is a South African bulb that flowers in the spring. It has lemon yellow flowers with dark red centers and can grow on stems that are 30–40 centimeters tall.

Plant in a sunny location with good drainage into well-worked soil that is 4–5 centimeters deep. Water sparingly until flower spikes appear, then water freely.

we think they look best when planted in groups. They can be grown in containers, borders, or rock gardens, and are a good choice for warm coastal gardens. Plant them in autumn for a good spring show.
