Also known as Sea Lavender because it's natural habitat is the Canary Islands where it surrounded by coastal areas. And of course, its distinctly blue Lavender colour! A hardy (in warmer areas) evergreen perennial that produces florettes of violet-blue and white flowers on tall 70cm stems throughout most of the year. Can be grown in full sun or partial shade where soils are free-draining and just loves to be in beach gardens! Their stiff flower stems make them ideal for cutting for either fresh or dried for flower arrangements. The bright blue doesn't fade and is just lovely.

Grows up to about 90cm in height and spread. Easy care too. just add compost around its base in spring, they don't like too much fertilizer as it makes their stems floppy but do prefer to dry out between waterings. Such a great long-lasting plant for the garden!
