Salvia rosmarinus 'Miss Jessopp's Upright' is an evergreen shrub that is tolerant of drought and coastal areas. It has wonderful culinary uses, fresh or dried as a seasoning. Rosemary generally blooms in spring to summer and this variety has masses of small sky blue, two lipped blooms in spring.
As the name suggests, this one grows upright to 1.2 metres tall and 90 cm wide. Loves the full sun spot where its aromatic leaves can release its essential oils as you brush past it. (This variety has been awarded the prestigious AGM by the Royal Horticultural Society!)
Rosemary plants are a wonderful addition to the garden and we're thrilled to have a couple of unusual varieties for sale. Another one for the bees too! š
Perfect for picking and drying and of course Rosemary is the symbol of remembrance so a lovely little touch to a bridal corsage or buttonhole.
