Symphytum grandiflorum | Creeping Comfrey
We call it a comfrey and as its name suggests, it will creep through the areas where you plant it. We use it under fruit trees and also as a ground cover in some of our bigger spaces in the garden that need filling as the bees just cant get enough of it and for us that is reason enough. We find it does not spread rampantly and we have found that it is not as deep rooted as our big Comfrey and we find we can easily dig it out if we want to move it and no new bits seem to sprout and if they do they appear to be easily removed and relocated or we use it in our Comfrey tea that we make with sheep manure and use on our garden plants.
Hardy Deciduous or can be semi deciduous in warmer areas
Height 40cm x spreading
Pot Size: 2.5 Litre
